Citizen drone observation · Made in Denmark

Seen a drone?
Report it in seconds.

RavenNET turns everyday smartphones into a network of observers. Your video, photos, sound and location help authorities detect, locate and follow unidentified drone activity.

How it works

From a sighting to a shared picture

Reporting takes seconds. You stay where you are, point your phone and send. RavenNET does the rest.

  1. Spot

You see or hear something that could be a drone. Keep your distance and stay safe.

  2. Capture

Open RavenNET and record video, take a photo or capture the sound. Location is added if you allow it.

  3. Submit

Send your observation with one tap. No account, no name, no email.

  4. Assess

Observations are combined and analysed, and the resulting assessments are shared with the relevant authorities.

Many eyes, one picture

One report is a hint. Several are evidence.

A single phone can say a drone was seen. When people in different places report the same thing, RavenNET can combine the reports and estimate much more.

Privacy by design

Built to collect observations, not people

RavenNET collects what an observation needs and nothing more. Here is how it handles your data. The privacy policy has the full details.

No account, ever

No login, name or email. The app creates a random Synonym ID that ties your observations to the app installation, not to you as a person.

You decide what is shared

Location, camera and microphone are each used only after you grant permission. If you decline one, that type of data is not collected.

ID removed before handover

The Synonym ID is removed before observations are passed to authorities. Images, audio, video or location can still identify people, so please think about what you record.

Never sold

NEGSIS ApS does not sell personal information. Observations are used for RavenNET's purpose and shared only with relevant authorities, or where the law requires it.

Stored under our control

Data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the NEGSIS ApS environment, or on dedicated local hardware for some deployments.

Video makes detection better

NEGSIS uses submitted videos to train its own automated drone detection. Videos are not shared with other organisations for their own training.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. RavenNET never asks for a login, name or email address. The app creates a random Synonym ID so observations from the same installation can be grouped together.

What happens if I don't allow location, camera or microphone?

That type of data is not collected. You can still use the app, but your observation may be less complete and less useful when it is combined with other reports.

Who gets to see my observations?

NEGSIS ApS processes the observations. Sharing observations and assessments with relevant government authorities is the core purpose of RavenNET. The Synonym ID is removed before anything is handed over. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it. Your data is never sold.

Who is behind RavenNET?

RavenNET is developed, owned and operated by NEGSIS ApS, a Danish company with a Danish team. You can reach us at contact@negsis.com.

Is my video used for anything else?

NEGSIS ApS uses submitted videos internally to train and improve its own automated drone detection. Videos are not shared with other organisations for their own training.

Can I delete an observation I've sent?

Not from within the app at the moment. Submitted observations are kept, and uninstalling the app does not delete them. If you have questions about your data, contact contact@negsis.com.

Should I contact the police instead?

If there is immediate danger to people or property, call 112. For non-urgent police matters in Denmark, call 114. RavenNET is for building a shared picture of drone activity. It does not replace emergency services.
